Cosmetic tattoos typically require 2 sessions to create a base. In our initial appointment, we will be focused on the design, structure, and balance of your tattoo. At our second session, we will assess how the skin has healed, creating any necessary refinements to the depth and/or density.

Frequently Asked Questions
This procedure is semi-permanent and typically lasts between 1-2 years.
Your freckles will initially look 30-40% darker when first tattooed. For this reason, it may be best to have the procedure spaced out from any social events. The intensity will settle down around day 4-5. The freckles will lighten from this point and look "milky", but around the 2 week mark, you will see the final result: soft, angelic little sprinkles of color. You will be required to lightly apply moisturizer and keep the area clean from makeup or other substances for 2 weeks.
Most clients experience minimal discomfort during the Freckle Tattoo procedure, as topical anesthetics are applied to numb the lips, ensuring a more comfortable experience.
Absolutely! We will spend time looking at any reference photos you may have and designing the layout of the freckles beforehand. Each set of freckles is custom-tailored to individual preferences. We will err on the conservative side on the first session, as you can always add more at your touch-up session.
We tend to go light-handed with freckles at the first session, as going too deep can make them look unrealistic and cooler in tone. We will assess your healed results and typically do more work at the touch-up session, so please be patient as it is a 2-step layering process. :)
In order to prevent inflammation or infection, we advise waiting at least 10 days, ideally a full 14 day period, before applying any makeup or other products to the tattooed area.
