Course Outline

Our first day of training is an overview and a focus on theory and foundations. I will have an opportunity to understand your innate strengths and learning style, so I can guide your unique ability to its full potential throughout the course.
We will dive into the manual and introduce the fundamentals of our chosen brow tattoo technique. We will explore color theory, skin types, sanitation, stroke patterns, depth and retention, best/worst candidates, risks associated with the procedure, pigments, machines, and needle theory.

We will continue to cover our concepts in the manual, and move forward into concepts about brow shaping and designing. We will practice a few forms of mapping before I show you my signature design method.
After lunch, we will begin to practice mapping on paper and then a mannequin. Once the mapping process has been thoroughly integrated, we will begin our latex/silicone practice.

We will spend the morning going over any questions or concerns and further practise on latex. In the afternoon, you will have the opportunity to watch your Master Trainer tattoo a live model, take notes and transcend from concept into application.
Applying skills from paper to latex and silicone is imperative for muscle memory when it comes to correct depth. We will spend the first part of the day continuing our practice on these materials, as this practice is essential to creating quality work on your first model.
Students who practice witness a live model in training gain more confidence in their conceptual understanding. Being able to ask questions throughout the procedure and shadow your educator’s body positioning will benefit your understanding of the work flow.
DAY 3 SCHEDULE

In the afternoon, we will incorporate shading work with your first model, utilizing the student chosen hybrid technique.
(This will be arranged at least 2 weeks prior. If the model prefers to bring in someone they know, we must obtain a deposit and release form prior to the scheduled session to ensure that we are on schedule.)
On Day 4, you will have gained some confidence and flow with your work. It will be time to apply the techniques we've focused on into action!
I will oversee the entire procedure and ensure that you are mastering the fundamental visual and muscle coordination that will create a foundation for success.
Afterward, I will provide feedback on your technique, and we will work on editing your photos together and creating 2-3 marketable images.
DAY 4 SCHEDULE

We will spend the first part of the day addressing any concerns or questions regarding the previous model session. There is always a lot to process and integrate after your first hands-on experience.
In the afternoon, we will level up your process with a second, further improved model session.
(This will be arranged at least 2 weeks prior. If the model prefers to bring in someone they know, we must obtain a deposit and release form prior to the scheduled session to ensure that we are on schedule.)
On Day 5, you will have gained some awareness about your strengths and weaknesses from the previous model session. Now, we can continue to refine your process in a way that is unique to you!
I will again oversee the entire procedure and ensure that you are mastering the fundamental visual and muscle coordination that will create a foundation for success.
Afterward, I will provide feedback on your technique, and we will work on editing your photos together and creating 2-3 marketable images.
You will be awarded your certificate upon completion of the course.
